Preparation for the MDK

Quickly and safely to the right care level:
The assessment by the MDK scares many people. Clients often try to gloss over their physical condition. The result: the care degree is refused. To prevent this from happening, we carefully prepare the MDK assessments together with our clients. We document all nursing measures in a nursing diary and provide the necessary documents such as doctor’s and hospital discharge reports. In this way, we not only make the MDK’s work easier, but also increase the chance of receiving the care degree that is necessary for comprehensive care.

Accompaniment through the assessment for obtaining a care degree

We accompany you through the entire process of obtaining a care degree. This includes the application and support during the assessment by the medical service of the health insurance fund.

Effects of the coronavirus
Dear Berliners and Brandenburgers, Dear advice seekers,
the precautionary measures to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus have an impact on all projects and facilities of DAKOS Care-Service.
The necessary care and support of our clients at home continues under special additional hygienic conditions. Consultations according to §37.3 SGB XI are carried out by telephone. Please contact your local DAKOS station.
The visiting services of the DAKOS nursing service are continued in compliance with appropriate hygiene measures. Group services cannot take place at the moment. Despite all the restrictions, we are of course still available for your questions and problems – by telephone and e-mail in the individual facilities or centrally in the adjacent contact field.
Changes are also indicated on site by notices.
